Portolano Cavallo, a leading full-service law firm in the Life Sciences-Healthcare and Digital-Media-Tech sectors, announces the appointment of two new partners: Daniela Amhof, head of the firm’s German Desk, and Donata Cordone, an expert in e-commerce, Internet, and new technologies.
With the promotion of Amhof and Cordone, the number of partners rises to 23, including 11 women: a female equity presence that is unique in Italy.

Daniela Amhof joined Portolano Cavallo in 2024 as counsel and specializes in civil, commercial, and corporate litigation, with a particular focus on cross-border cases. She deals with complex commercial disputes, post-M&A controversies, cases of abuse of dominant position, and, in general, issues related to contractual, extra-contractual, and pre-contractual liabilities. A native German speaker, she is responsible for the firm’s German Desk, which specializes in providing legal assistance to clients in the DACH region and South Tyrol.
Donata Cordone has been counsel at Portolano Cavallo since 2021 and specializes in the digital economy, focusing on e-commerce, the Internet, and new technologies. Additionally, she handles cases related to the exploitation of digital content, consumer protection, advertising, and unfair commercial practices, assisting clients in proceedings before the relevant authorities. She is recognized by multiple professional rankings, both Italian and international.
