She also has remarkable experience in the Private Equity and Venture Capital sector, mainly assisting foreign funds in their transactions in Italy in the fashion, media, internet and new technologies sectors.

Her work also includes film and TV Series deals, Italian and international co-productions, including financing structures and the handling of subsidy applications, including tax credit.

She is one of the few women to have been listed among the top attorneys in Italy in the Corporate/M&A sector in recent years by Chambers & Partners, Who’s Who Legal and Legal500, in particular in relation to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Before founding the firm, Manuela worked with Baker & McKenzie, in Rome, from 1999 to 2001.

She has authored various articles on M&A and Corporate Finance topics, published on several legal newsletters and publications, and she regularly speaks at seminars and conferences on M&A and Corporate Finance topics. Furthermore, she is co-author of a research project conducted by the firm on the characteristics of more than 60 by-laws of Italian companies participated by Private Equity funds.

She graduated cum laude in 1998 from the Luiss Guido Carli School of Law of Rome. In 2005, she obtained an LLM in Corporations from the New York University School of Law. She has been a member of the Board of NYUAA – New York University Alumni Association for six years.

Manuela is currently a Contract Professor of Negotiation at the Luiss Guido Carli of Rome.

Manuela has served as a member of the Advisory Board of Luminance, an artificial intelligence platform for lawyers, for three years.

She is a member of the Professional Women’s Network of Rome (PWN Rome), of which she has been founder and Vice President until May 2018.

Manuela is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA). She has been President of the Corporate and M&A commission at AIJA – International Young Lawyers Association. She has also been Chair of the organizing committee of the 2019 annual congress of AIJA.
