Portolano Cavallo, a leading full-service Italian law firm in the Digital-Media-Tech and Life Sciences-Healthcare sectors, announces the appointment of Paolo Giugliano as partner to strengthen its administrative law practice, with a particular focus on administrative litigation. With his arrival, the firm’s partner count rises to 23.
Prior to joining Portolano Cavallo, Paolo Giugliano was a partner at Cintioli & Associati, where he worked for over ten years, advising on a wide range of significant contentious and non-contentious matters in administrative law, public procurement, competition and regulated markets, with a particular focus on Portolano Cavallo’s core sectors: electronic communications, competition, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and healthcare. He has also represented clients in numerous proceedings before key administrative authorities, including AGCOM, the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM), the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in relation to Golden Power matters. He is also active in academia and currently teaches Competition Law and Digital Communications Law at the International University of Rome (UNINT).
