Portolano Cavallo is pleased to announce that attorney Donata Cordone will be promoted from associate to counsel. She has been with the firm since 2017.
This appointment will further strengthen Portolano Cavallo’s position as a leader in the Digital, Media, and Technology sector. Donata has many years of experience in a variety of areas connected to the digital economy. She has great expertise in ecommerce, Internet, and new technology matters, particularly those that hinge on digital content, consumer protection, advertising, unfair commercial practices, brands, domain names, and unfair competition. She has worked with both Italian and foreign clients in and out of court in all of these areas. Who’s Who Legal named Donata a Global Leader in Telecoms & Media in its Data 2021 guide.

Donata is a member of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance (GALA) and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN). Before joining Portolano Cavallo, she worked in Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners (now Gianni & Origoni)’s intellectual property and information technology department.
