After receiving her Law Degree from the Luiss Guido Carli of Rome, with the final score of 110/110 cum laude and an “honor mention”, she continued practicing law at Portolano Cavallo.
She regularly assists Italian and foreign clients in national and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity & Venture Capital transactions.
Her work also includes drafting commercial contracts, including in the Real Estate sector, and assisting in corporate governance and corporate law.
Chiara is ranked as an “Associate to watch” by Chambers Europe 2024 for Corporate/M&A: Mid Market.
Since 2016 she gives her contribution to the writing of Italy related chapters of the Doing Business Report, published annually by the World Bank Group, and she co-authores articles about corporate law published on newsletter and law-focused websites and papers.
She was involved in drafting the Italian version of the Subscription Agreement for Future Equity, or SAFE (Contratto di Sottoscrizione di Futuro Aumento di Capitale), an agreement template that founders and investors can use in early-stage investments in innovative companies.
Chiara also contributed to the preparation of a sample term sheet for an A round investment and a glossary explaining the main issues and legal clauses in the context of an investment transaction, as well as observations, practical advice and best practices on issues frequently discussed and negotiated between the parties.
She is member of the Professional Women’s Network of Rome (PWN Rome).
In 2017 she attended the International Associate Program at the firm P+P Pöllath + Partners of Munich.
