Sonia Rea

In the Corporate area, she keeps and updates company books and handles filing with the Registry of Companies and the Revenue Agency. She has also overseen databank research at Chambers of Commerce, land registry offices, conservation agencies, and the Public Register of Motor Vehicles, including requests for company registration reports, land and property title and mortgage searches, and Public Register of Motor Vehicles searches.

In the Litigation area, Sonia has honed valuable skills through continuing education and research. She is an active participant in seminars and training on new electronic civil law techniques and proceedings. As a result, Sonia oversees all work with judiciary offices and has extensive expertise in electronic procedures (including certified email notification; Polisweb SICID, SIECIC, Justice of the Peace, and Court of Cassation Registry review; and drafting and submitting e-filings with Justice Access Points).

Sonia provides support to the litigation legal team. She oversees interaction with related personnel and organizes the legal calendar, as well as scheduling and monitoring deadlines to ensure that they are met.

Prior to joining Portolano Cavallo, Sonia worked as a paralegal at an independent Italian law firm for nine years.
