She specialises in intellectual property litigation, covering the fields of patents (in particular: life sciences), trade marks, copyright, design, image rights, know-how and unfair competition. In recent years, she has gained experience in handling litigation matters relating to generative Artificial Intelligence. She is involved in drafting and negotiating intellectual property exploitation agreements, in particular trademark, patent and software licence agreements.
Francesca is a UPC Representative before the Unified Patent Court and is currently representing a client in pending litigation before the Central Division in Milan. She is also a member of LES Italy (Licensing Executive Society) and is active in the LES Young association for professionals under 40.
She is listed as a “Key lawyer” in the Intellectual Property sector in Legal 500 EMEA 2026.
Before joining the firm, Francesca worked in the intellectual and industrial property department of an international law firm, dealing primarily with pharmaceutical patent litigation, trade marks and designs, and the management of intellectual and industrial property rights in the context of extraordinary transactions. Previously, she worked with an Italian law firm in the areas of litigation and out-of-court assistance relating to copyright, trade marks and unfair competition.
She is currently enrolled at CEIPI (Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle, University of Strasbourg, France) in “Patent Litigation in Europe 2025/2026”.
She graduated cum laude with a degree in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2018.
Francesca is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
