A trusted figure for contentious issues, Andrea assists clients in employment court proceedings at all levels, as well as in trade union negotiations and arbitration and mediation.
Since 2011 Andrea is ranked by Chambers Europe (Band 6 in 2024) and he is also ranked by Who’s Who Legal as a Thought Leader in the Thought Leaders – Labour & Employment 2023 guide, “Recommended” in the Labour & Employment 2023 and the Italy 2023 (“Labour, Employment & Benefits”) guides. He is also mentioned by The Legal 500 EMEA 2024 as a “Practice head” for the Employment area.
Andrea has authored numerous articles in employment law journals: since 2010 he co-authored the Italian chapter of the book ABA/BNA International Restrictive Covenants and of Doing Business reports, published by the World Bank. He has lectured on “Employment contracts in the film and television sector” as part of the master’s course in management of cinematography and television production at the LUISS Guido Carli Business School.
He is a member of numerous associations, as the Italian Employment Lawyers’ Association (AGI, Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Bar Association (IBA).
He graduated with a degree in law from the Università degli Studi di Messina in 1998. He previously worked for other law firms in the employment law sector.
