The firm was named “Law Firm of the Year: Italy” in 2018 and 2021
Portolano Cavallo was named “European Litigation Team of the Year” by the British magazine The Lawyer at its European Awards 2023. Portolano Cavallo has been shortlisted for the European Awards every year since the awards were first given in 2009, and in 2018 and 2021 it was named “Law Firm of the Year: Italy”.
The Lawyer jury explained that the “European Litigation Team of the Year” award was received because Portolano Cavallo obtained a “complex and landmark ruling that has significant ramifications in support of restricting harmful social media content”.
“This award acknowledges our excellence in all aspects of litigation related to Digital-Tech-Media” said Micael Montinari, head of litigation at Portolano Cavallo. “It recognizes our ability to devise innovative legal strategies and represents another step toward achieving our goal of becoming the go-to firm in Italy for two complex and constantly evolving sectors: Digital-Tech-Media and Life Sciences-Healthcare.”
