Portolano Cavallo, a leading Italian full-service law firm in the Digital-Media-Tech and Life Sciences-Healthcare sectors, announces the inclusion of Manuela Cavallo, co-founder and partner of the firm, in The Lawyer‘s “Hot 100 2026” list. Manuela is the only Italian lawyer to be included in the ranking.
The Lawyer is one of the leading international publications dedicated to the legal sector and each year selects 100 legal professionals considered to be among the most innovative and influential in the global market, distinguished for their strategic skills, vision and impact on their organisations and clients.
After graduating cum laude in law in 1998 from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, she founded Portolano Cavallo together with Francesco Portolano in 2001. In 2005, she obtained an LL.M. in Corporations from New York University School of Law. She was a member of the Board of the NYU Alumni Association for six years and is currently a lecturer in Negotiation at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
