In 2021 she earned a law degree from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna with a thesis in Legal Informatics titled “Blockchain and Intellectual Property: Technology Applications for a Digital Protection of Copyright and Trade Secrets.”
She works with Italian and foreign companies in the areas of digital media, cinema, intellectual property, and antitrust, both in court and out.
During her university career, she participated in the Overseas Exchange Program in the law department at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia. She also participated in a number of Summer and Winter Schools in Italy and abroad, where she honed her expertise in the areas of intellectual property, new technology law, and European Union law.
In 2019 she trained as a research assistant in the IT Law Programme at the University of Tartu in Estonia, where she dealt with topics touching on artificial intelligence, legal tech, and legal design.
Marianna holds the position of Young Ambassador for Women&Tech – Donne e tecnologie Association.
