Valentina joined Portolano Cavallo in 2014, upon earning her Cum laude Law degree from the LUISS Guido Carli University.
Valentina leverages her expertise in the areas of Labor law and the protection of workers’ personal information, as it relates to employers. In particular, she prepares employment and consulting agreements, and works on matters that include disciplinary sanctions, individual or collective termination, workers’ background checks, employee and defensive monitoring, preparation and revision of Codes of Conduct, Social Media and Corporate policies governing email, Internet, and work tool use, whistle blowing, and any other matter concerning the handling of workers’ personal information.
Furthermore, Valentina supports Italian and international clients on legal or arbitration proceedings, focusing, in particular, on Labor law, social media, and tourism.
Valentina gave her contribution to the writing of Italy related chapters of the latest editions of Women, Business and the Law and Doing Business, issued by the World Bank, and authored Riflessioni sulla normativa in tema di startup innovative contained in the publication “L’innovazione che non ti aspetti. Contesti e visioni per l’impresa” (Franco Angeli, 2015).
Valentina is member of the Professional Women’s Network of Rome (PWN Rome).
