Manuela is one of the founding partners of the firm.
Manuela advises domestic and international clients on corporate governance matters on mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures transactions, as well as Private Equity and Venture Capital, in particular with respect to transaction in the Fashion and of digital, media and technology sectors. She also advises clients on aspects relating to acquisition finance in M&A transaction.
Her work also includes film deals and international film co-productions, including financing structures and the handling of subsidy applications, including tax credit.
She is one of the few women to have been identified among the top attorneys in Italy in the Corporate/M&A sector in recent years by Chambers & Partners, Who’s Who Legal and Legal500, in particular in relation to cross-border and multi-jurisdictional operations.
Manuela speaks regularly at conferences and seminars on corporate and M&A topics. She has authored various articles relating to M&A and Corporate Finance. She is also co-author of a research project conducted by the firm on the clauses of 60 by-laws of Italian companies participate by a Private Equity fund.
Manuela graduated cum laude in 1998 from the LUISS Guido Carli School of Law. In 2005, she obtained an LLM in Corporations from the New York University School of Law. She is currently member of the Board of NYUAA – New York University Alumni Association and she is an active member of the NYU Alumni Club in Italy, organizing networking events and conferences. She is also member of the Professional Women’s Network of Rome (PWN Rome), of which she has been Vice President until May 2018.
Manuela is President of the Corporate and M&A commission at AIJA – International Young Lawyers Association (AIJA).
Before founding the firm, Manuela worked with Baker & McKenzie, in Rome, from 1999 to 2001.
